Admission Procedure

Sudhir Memorial Institute is primarily meant to cater to the educational aspirations of the students and parents residing in North Kolkata. No discrimination is made in the name of caste, creed, race, status or gender. We strictly aadher to the guidelines of the regulatory bodies such as CBSE and the Directorate of education. Admission process is designed in accordance with the instructions available from time to time. Provisions for admission of the children from economically weaker section is in place in accordance with the existing rules.

Pre - School Admission

Admission is granted purely on the basis of relevant guidelines without any prejudice whatsoever. Parents/ Guardians are required to register their wards online as and when the notification is issued. Admission / Registration form is required to be submitted within the stipulated time. The child seeking admission to Pre - School must have completed 2+ years on or before 31st March in the academic year of admission sought.
The registration does not guarantee admission unless the candidate has completed the entire process successfully.

Class XI Admission

All admissions are provisional in nature and confirmed only after verifying all the necessary / documents requisite. Our admission process is very transparent and it is carried out in accordance with the laid down policies. Canvassing for admission in any form is not encouraged. Admission for Other Classes

Admission in classes Pre - Primary to IX is subject to the availability of vacancy. Admission criteria and other details are notified as and when applicable.

After collecting the Application Kit the application form shall have to be duly completed with authentic details and shall have to be submitted with the school authorities at the following locations.

School Campus Office -Jessore Road, Doltala, P.O. Ganganagar, Kolkata - 700132 Once the application forms are approved we the school shall conduct a basic aptitude test followed by a parents interview. This shall be followed by a final list of candidates selected for admissions and admission forms shall be issued to them. The admission form should be duly filled and submitted along with the attachments as required by the school authorities within 15 (Fifteen) days of issuance of admissions list failing which the selection shall be considered cancelled.

Documents required for Admission:-

1. Three copy photo of student (Passport/Stamp size)
2. Birth Certificate Photocopy
3. Both Parents Photo-id Card Photocopy
4. Both parent one copy photo each
5. Address proof photo copy
6. If SC/ST/OBC, Certificate photocopy
7. Vaccination/Immunization card photo copy (Only for infant, Prep-1, Prep-2)
8. Mock Test/Pre Board result photocopy (Only for class 11)
