LEARNING RESOURCES

The school library is central to learning and plays a key role as a place for encouraging innovation, curiosity, and problem solving. Sudhir Memorial Institute has two Libraries (Primary, Senior), which is fundamental resource for supporting students’ learning and a key support for teaching staff. Senior School Library is located on the first floor of the school building, which has a seating capacity of 60 students.

Our library reflects and encourages collaborative learning and sharing of ideas. Our library creates opportunities for collaborative book sharing and reading promotion activities including author visits and special events like BOOK WEEK held every year. The library team maximizes opportunities to promote the use of library facilities and resources and uses their expertise to ensure that users’ needs are met. Each user has library card and the books are issued through Library Management System. The vast collection of over 25,000 volumes is available and mainly comprised of textbooks, reference books, fiction titles, periodicals, audiovisual material like CDs and VCDs, collection of syllabus-based textbooks (according to classes), fiction titles (primary and secondary) as also periodicals and audio visual materials.
